To all the butterfly dinosaurs… Sometimes current events are heavy and beyond logic and explanation. Some days you have so much on the to-do list that you don’t even know where to begin so you just start and sail as best you can. Some moments in life, you live more in the questioning and unknown than in clarity of what’s next — and most often that turns out to be the best and most necessary place of all. And so I breathe. And I allow the beat of my heart to illuminate the path before me. And I see where Love rises up. And I get the opportunity to embody peace and compassion. And I am grateful for everything. And there’s this tiny human who wanted to be a butterfly dinosaur today. And thank goodness I live in the world where that is possible.
“Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves, like locked rooms and like books that are now written in a very foreign tongue. Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given you because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps you will then gradually, without noticing it, live along some distant day into the answer.” -Rainer Maria Rilke
